This quote and sticker makes my AuAHD self’s inner child’s day every time I see it when I open my laptop. I was diagnosed with aspberger syndrome as a child and while I usually spent my time playing story related games where I took care of my dolls (my dog ate my Barbie’s so frequently I played disabled Barbie wedding) and running around games (very energetic kid), I was always taken aback when reading autism related materials (always aimed at boys by the diagnostic criteria that involved testing how “well” a child who liked lining up their toys took it if their line got knocked over. If they threw a huge tantrum for a long time they were considered disordered or maladjusted. There wasn’t a question as to whether an adult who kicks a child’s carefully placed toy is ACTUALLY the maladjusted one whose being unnecessarily cruel
